We have all heard the expression to “endure to the end” or “stand blameless before God at the Last Day.” Obviously these expressions refer to the Day of Judgment or the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
It has always been my personal feeling that this could be when Christ comes in his Glory to all the inhabitants of the earth or it could be when you die and personally meet the Savior. Either way, you do not know whether that is 20 years from now, next month, or tomorrow. Because that day is unknown it can happen anytime. Simply put, the “Last Day” is TODAY!
Now is the time to prepare to meet God. Tomorrow may be too late. Prophets through the ages have so declared: “This life is the time for men to prepare to meet God. . . . Do not procrastinate the day of your repentance.” (Alma 34:32-33)
