Updated Meetinghouse Locator Available

The Church launched an upgraded version of its online meetinghouse locator on August 20, 2008, that can be accessed directly at maps.lds.org.

Some Key Points of the new meetinghouse locator:

  • More precise directions to chapels located in the United States and internationally.
  • Ability to zoom in or out and drag the map around
  • Road, satellite, and aerial views.
  • The option to switch between Google and Microsoft maps.
  • A display of meetinghouses closest to your location
  • Assigned congregation for a particular address (including language-specific wards and YSA wards)
  • A link to the unit’s Web site (if available), name of bishop or branch president, and meetinghouse phone numbers.
