I remember in my grade school days watching via film projector the time-lapse animation of plants growing. It was quite fascinating to see in only a few seconds the things that normally take place over many hours, weeks, or months.

Here is a time-lapse of the Nauvoo temple construction. Each second of the time-lapse corresponds to roughly one month of construction (one photo each day). The Nauvoo temple was dedicated June 27, 2002. So, the video shows about 2 years of construction in about 30 seconds.
