Here is a site that I came across recently. Personal Scripture is a free service that is allows you to generate a copy of your patriarchal blessing in scripture format (PDF). Then you can print it out and insert it into your scriptures.
Although the site says that personal information will be carefully protected, it lacks SSL encyrption protection. I rarely share personal information over the Internet, and this is no exception. The idea is stunning, nonetheless.
Putting your patriarchal blessing in scripture format is something that can be done very easily within minutes using MicroSoft Word. It’s all a matter of formatting the text. You then have full control and privacy over your information. Print it out and include it with your scriptures.
In the April 1986 General Conference, President Ezra Taft Benson, in the talk To the “Youth of the Noble Birthright,” stated the following concerning Patriarchal Blessings:
Further, I would encourage you brethren of the Aaronic Priesthood to receive a patriarchal blessing. Study it carefully and regard it as personal scripture to you—for that is what it is. A patriarchal blessing is the inspired and prophetic statement of your life’s mission together with blessings, cautions, and admonitions as the patriarch may be prompted to give. Young men, receive your patriarchal blessing under the influence of fasting and prayer, and then read it regularly that you may know God’s will for you.
