President Thomas S. Monson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced today that the Church plans to build a new temple in Phoenix, Arizona. Recently in Sacrament meeting our stake president read a letter from the First Presidency regarding financial fraud. This letter urged members to be wary of fraud and other financial scams. Apparently, too many members of the Church are using their church status to scam other members of the Church.
