Just as Ezra Taft Benson said in October 1973, “The revelation to store food may be as essential to our temporal salvation today as boarding the ark was to the people in the days of Noah.” Food storage is one of many areas in which we are to be prepared. We need to be prepared for any sort of disaster or emergency related event.

Noah’s Emergency Ark is an emergency preparedness website that supplies emergency preparedness products. What makes them different from other sites? Well, they are a group of 5 friends dedicated to helping wherever we can. In addition to their website, four of them run a small business that provides caregivers for people that need assistance to stay in their homes and maintain their independence.

They also work hard at the Humanitarian Aid program within the LDS Church to provide items for people that are in need both locally and thru the church’s distribution system. Three of their group run the program for their ward and the other two provide the support that they need to keep things going.

They have even invented quilt stands made out of PVC sewer pipe that are easy to put together and the sisters in their ward find them light to carry and easy to store.

Currently they are engaged in making lap quilts for the veterans at their local Veterans Hospital and stocking caps and school bags to send to Church headquarters to send to needy areas in the world.

They are parents, grandparents and great grandparents. Between them, they have 9 children, 30 grand children and 2 great grand children. They have had a real concern for their families being prepared in the event of an emergency or a natural disaster and have done their best to get them ready. So they created a website to help people prepare for such occasions at reasonable prices.
