It is amazing that a group of people (homosexuals) who claim peaceful tolerance are filled with such hate, anger, and violence after the majority of the people of California voted to pass proposition 8 to rid the state of same-sex marriage. Given that less than 2% of the state is actually Mormon (and that includes children who do not vote), it is amazing that they are the cause that the proposition passed 52% in the majority.

Do these gay people also fail to understand that probably their closest friends (Obama supporters) also voted in favor of proposition 8? Do they fail to understand that this is not just a Mormon thing, but that most all Christian religions espouse the same view? Yet the hate, anger, and violence continue on a dramatic rise. Now the homosexuals want to boycott anything related to the Mormons. Here’s a few examples:

Postings on Daily Kos and elsewhere calling for boycott of Mormon owned businesses: “Businesses owned by Mormons, who tithe to the Church, should also be boycotted. Large amounts of Church income comes from tithings. Vote with your wallets! Every dollar less that you give to a tithed Mormon is a dollar less that can be tithed and spent on anti-gay activity.”

Calls not to tip Mormon waiters: “Now do not tip, hire, or do any business with a Mormon. 10% of their income goes to the church that worked tirelessly to take the civil rights away from people. They are a Nazi organization who only what their point of view followed. I asked my waiter if he were a Mormon, when he said he was I did not tip him, telling him, I was sorry but I can not support bigotry.”

A call to boycott businesses which have Mormons in senior positions: “Universely [sic], we need to avoid putting any more money into the Church’s coffers by boycotting all companies where a Mormon church member holds an officer’s position or a large majority interest.”

What will be accomplished by these boycotts? Absolutely nothing. Rarely do boycotts have any effect unless there is an enormous (majority of the population) support for the boycott. Boston Tea Party comes to mind. However, there are Mormons in every walk of life: television and movie celebrities, singers, professional athletes, CEOs of major corporations, renowned in the medical and scientific field, as well as political figures … just to name a few. So what the gays are saying is that they want to boycott this whole nation! Well, here’s how you do that: YOU PERMANENTLY LEAVE THE COUNTRY!. The gays need to understand that this boycott Mormon thing will essentially cripple them.

So the gays are trying to “out” all the Mormons . . .

I’m willing to be “outed” as a Mormon at any time. Go ahead and draw attention to us so that people can see there are Mormons everywhere, operating good businesses, working in public service, etc.

Once all the “hiding places” for the Mormons are discovered, I think those determined to boycott will be sitting self-righteously at home, with nowhere to go. I guess there would still be a few things they could buy, like alcohol and pornography.

I’m calling for a reverse boycott of anything and anyone who supported the “yes on 8″ campaign in California. I don’t have to agree with every ideology or theology that they have, but it’s time to put an end to the tyrannical threats of the far, far left.

I used to be divided on this issue. No longer. Gays who actively promote hostility, vandalism, and other forms of inappropriate behavior against any one institution without any serious condemnation have helped me make up my mind. I am now decidedly anti-Gay, and will begin immediately to boycott any business that hires gays or lesbians. This is absolutely ridiculous, these people make up less than 1% of our population.

I love reading these blogs. Today I am boycotting chinese food because a “chinese looking” person cut me off on the expressway. Yesterday I boycotted mexican food because a mexican (at least I think he was mexican) spit on the floor in front of me (spitting is disgusting) Who knows who I will boycott tomorrow, maybe Italians because I don’t like lasagna. Where will it end?

Disgusting. Finally the gays show their true colors. I do not support any liberal hate filled cause. I have gay family members, and actually sympathized with their desire for marriage. But now, seeing these CA gays behavior, I am fully against it.
