HiveRadical: While the Poulson Whitmer exchange is verifiable I can see no proof that the alleged Packard-Musser correspondence is real. In fact I can't find any reference to it that precedes August of last year. In the whole of the internet I can't find any earlier reference to the "A. Milton Musser Papers" There is a reference in a wikipedia article to teh Musser Family Papers, but I can find no reason thus far to take as credible the Musser letter. In fact it seems to scream that it's a scam reference.

Just because you can not find a reference does not mean that it does not exist. An atheist will tell you that they can not find evidence or proof of God, but that does not mean that God does not exist. Besides, the reference was referring to LDS Church Archives. I'm sure you along with everyone else has open access to those restricted access archives, right?
